Head of Architecture & Design

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level Head of Architecture & Design to steer the architectural vision and design execution of luxury townships and real‑estate projects in Mumbai. Reporting to senior leadership, you will work closely with international architects, master planners and internal teams to translate concept designs into detailed, build‑ready documentation and ensure flawless on‑site delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end architectural and design process for township and luxury real‑estate developments, from concept through construction.
• Coordinate with international architects, master planners and design consultants to align design intent with project requirements.
• Oversee preparation, review and finalisation of detailed drawings, working drawings and construction documentation.
• Ensure design detailing is practical, coordinated and executable at the site level.
• Collaborate with project, engineering and site execution teams to guarantee accurate implementation of approved designs.
• Conduct regular site reviews to verify compliance with design standards, quality benchmarks and project timelines.
• Resolve design and execution challenges through cross‑functional coordination.
• Establish design standards, detailing protocols and review mechanisms across projects.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders for seamless coordination.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in architecture and design management for large‑scale real‑estate or township projects.
• Proven ability to work with international design teams and translate design intent into construction‑ready documentation.
• Strong understanding of statutory regulations and compliance requirements in the construction sector.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to manage multi‑disciplinary teams.
