Senior Engineer - Hydrology

About the role

This position joins a multidisciplinary team to support the delivery of hydrology and stormwater projects under the guidance of senior engineers. The role involves modelling, design review and client interaction across various regions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support hydrological and hydraulic modelling using InfoWorks ICM, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, SewerGEMS, QGIS, Flow‑Master and culvert design tools.
• Prepare and review stormwater management reports ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
• Collaborate with CAD, road, landscape, geotech and environmental teams to integrate modelling outputs into design drawings.
• Coordinate with CAD teams to develop and verify stormwater drawings.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on model development, calibration and reporting.
• Contribute to project packages alongside principals and associates, delivering on time and to quality standards.
• Support design integration using basic Civil 3D and BIM knowledge.
• Participate in client meetings, technical discussions and project planning sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources or related field.
• Strong understanding of stormwater systems, hydrological processes and drainage design.
• Familiarity with GCC standards and local stormwater design manuals.
• Good English communication skills; ability to work on projects in the Middle East or UK.
