Gym Trainer

About the role

The Gym Trainer will work full‑time on site at Merlis Hotels in Coimbatore, guiding guests through safe and effective workout routines. You will create personalized exercise plans, lead group fitness sessions, and support the hotel’s wellness offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate proper use of gym equipment and ensure guest safety.
• Design and supervise individualized workout programs and circuit‑training classes.
• Conduct fitness assessments and provide basic nutrition guidance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked gym environment.
• Collaborate with hotel staff to enhance guest experience and promote gym services.

Required profile

• Relevant certification in fitness training, personal training, or sports coaching from a recognized body.
• Prior experience as a gym trainer, fitness instructor, or similar role is preferred.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability in an on‑site hospitality setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse guests and colleagues.
