Guest Service Associate – Housekeeping

About the role

As a Guest Service Associate in Housekeeping, you will ensure that guest rooms and public areas are clean, well‑stocked, and ready for guests at all times. You will work closely with other hotel departments to deliver a seamless and welcoming experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and department requests.
• Prepare and transport housekeeping carts with supplies.
• Enter guest rooms following access procedures, verify vacancy, and replace amenities.
• Change dirty linens, make beds, fold terry, and clean bathrooms.
• Remove trash, room‑service items, and ensure all appliances are present and functional.
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor‑care duties in rooms and hallways.
• Follow all company safety, security, and housekeeping policies.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance.
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and provide courteous service.

Required profile

• Ability to lift ≤ 25 lb unassisted and > 25 lb with assistance.
• Capability to push/pull a loaded cart on uneven surfaces.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel, or sit for an entire shift.
• Fine motor skills for handling objects of varying size and weight.
• No high‑school diploma or prior housekeeping experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific certifications needed.
