Guest Service Associate – Housekeeping

About the role

Grand Mercure Bangalore is looking for a Guest Service Associate – Housekeeping to ensure guests enjoy a clean, comfortable and memorable stay. The role is based on‑site in Bangalore and involves maintaining the high standards of the hotel’s suite‑style rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of hygiene.
• Respect guest privacy and handle belongings with care while delivering exceptional service.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, replenish supplies and amenities, and report any damages or maintenance issues.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, and keep accurate room status and productivity logs.
• Support a positive and welcoming environment and follow all safety and security protocols.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in housekeeping or a similar guest‑service role.
• Warm, caring personality with strong organizational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards and procedures.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
