Guest Service Associate – Front Desk

About the role

The Guest Service Associate (GSA) is a full‑time, on‑site position at The Fern Seaside Luxurious Tent Resort Daman. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences while delivering personalized hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, handle check‑in and check‑out procedures, and manage reservations.
• Respond to guest inquiries in person, by phone, and via email.
• Provide information about the resort, amenities, and local attractions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally.
• Process payments, maintain accurate guest records, and ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards.
• Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and presentable.
• Support additional guest‑facing activities as needed.

Required profile

• Strong guest‑service mindset with courteous handling of check‑ins, check‑outs, and requests.
• Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn property management systems.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm during peak periods.
• Professional appearance, punctuality, reliability, and teamwork.
• Previous front‑office or hospitality experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field is advantageous.
