Guest Relations Associate

About the role

As a Guest Relations Associate you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing directions, information about hotel amenities, and assistance with any special requests. You will ensure each guest’s experience is smooth, memorable, and aligned with Marriott’s standards of wonderful hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Supply guests with accurate directions, information on property services, and local attractions.
• Coordinate with Bellperson, Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Security to resolve guest requests.
• Follow up with guests to confirm satisfaction and record messages legibly.
• Handle VIP arrivals, notifying designated personnel and arranging amenities.
• Adhere to company policies, report safety issues, and maintain a professional appearance.
• Communicate clearly on the phone and in person, using proper etiquette.
• Identify and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting items up to 10 lb.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to work extended periods on your feet and lift up to 10 lb.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine appreciation for guests.
