Guest Relation Associate

About the role

Join the pre‑opening team of Fairmont Udaipur Palace as a Guest Relation Associate and be the first point of contact for our guests. You will deliver a warm, professional welcome and ensure every stay reflects the brand’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival and create a positive first impression.
• Assist with check‑in and check‑out procedures as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
• Handle guest complaints efficiently and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel facilities, services, room categories, promotions, and local attractions.
• Provide special assistance to VIP guests and ensure their requests are met.
• Monitor guest feedback and promote positive experiences.
• Keep accurate guest records and update preferences in the property management system.
• Ensure lobby and guest areas remain clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Promote hotel services, restaurants, spa, and other facilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a hotel front office or guest relations role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with hotel property management systems.
