GST Consultant

About the role

Keshav Maloo & Associates, a 25‑year‑old tax advisory firm in Jaipur, is seeking an energetic GST Consultant to join its team under the leadership of CA Nikhil M. Jhanwar. The role offers hands‑on experience in GST law, indirect taxation, customs and FEMA.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of GST legislation and its practical nuances.
• Draft legal opinions, advisory notes and assist in preparing replies to demand notices.
• File appeals and represent clients before GST Appellate Tribunal and High Courts.
• Handle GST litigation for corporate clients, including listed companies.
• Support senior consultants in research and documentation related to indirect taxes.

Required profile

• Qualification: Advocate, Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, or CA Final dropout.
• Experience: 1‑3 years in GST, indirect taxation, customs or related fields.

Required skills

• Strong research and legal drafting abilities.
• Proficiency in English language.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AI‑based tools for efficiency.
