Group Manager - IAM DevSecOps Practice

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Group Manager to lead its Identity & Access Management (IAM) DevSecOps Practice in Bengaluru. The role combines strategic leadership of a global IAM engineering team with hands‑on practice ownership of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevSecOps across both commercial off‑the‑shelf and custom‑built applications.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the global IAM practice strategy, aligning with business goals and emerging security trends.
• Lead a distributed team of IAM engineers, SREs, and DevSecOps professionals, ensuring high‑performance delivery and continuous improvement.
• Architect and secure identity ecosystems, including SSO, federation, PAM, and IGA solutions.
• Drive automation of security controls in CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and policy‑as‑code frameworks.
• Collaborate with enterprise cybersecurity, infrastructure, and product teams to embed resilience and compliance across the product portfolio.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in cyber security, identity management, and IT operations, with proven disciplinary leadership.
• Track record of managing large‑scale, global platforms; aerospace experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Identity protocols: SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0.
• IAM platforms: Okta, Ping Identity, Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Privilege Access Management: CyberArk.
• Identity Governance: SailPoint.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible.
• Policy as Code: Open Policy Agent (OPA).
• DevSecOps tooling: SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, CI/CD security gating.
• Monitoring & observability frameworks for SRE.
