Group Manager - Employee Digital Services

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Group Manager to lead its Employee Digital Services team in Bangalore. The role sits at the intersection of Digital and HR, driving end‑to‑end accountability for HR‑related IT solutions across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team that manages the full lifecycle of HR IT solutions, including data distribution across 600+ IT interfaces and 100+ business interfaces, people authorizations, workforce planning, and reporting tools such as Workday, Skywise and Google.
• Operate within the Agile HIMalaya framework in partnership with HR Digital teams, steering digital projects aligned with Airbus HR Digital strategy.
• Contribute to the multi‑year corporate roadmap, local digital supply‑chain decisions, and offshore strategy.
• Ensure technical execution and operational excellence of direct reports, meeting service‑level agreements and fostering continuous improvement.
• Act as an intercultural bridge between Europe and India and adapt to the SAFe Large Solution framework.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate with at least 12 years of experience in IT development and product/project management.
• Proven leadership experience with strong customer relationship and change‑management mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, capable of translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience managing teams in an Agile environment; SAFe knowledge is a plus.
