Group Financial Reporting & Consolidation Lead

About the role

The Group Financial Reporting & Consolidation Lead will own and drive the end‑to‑end consolidation process for the company’s global operations. This senior finance professional will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements while partnering with cross‑functional teams to enhance reporting efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation of Group P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, including sub‑consolidations.
• Maintain a robust close calendar and ensure adherence to reporting timelines.
• Perform detailed financial statement reviews, identify risk areas and provide insights to management.
• Prepare consolidated financial reports, statutory packs and support external disclosures.
• Collaborate with Corporate Secretariat, FP&A and Group Controller to align internal and external reporting.
• Own consolidation system implementation, enhancements and automation initiatives.
• Partner with IT and SAP CoE to drive system upgrades, data integration and process efficiencies.
• Strengthen internal controls and governance around consolidation and financial statements.
• Act as SME on IFRS, delivering guidance, training and change‑management support.
• Manage interactions with group and country auditors, handling audit documentation and technical accounting queries.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing consolidation team.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading group consolidation and reporting cycles.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting principles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage audit processes and resolve technical queries.
• Leadership experience in building and coaching finance teams.
