Group Financial Controller – Remote (India)

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will join Marva Group’s global finance leadership team, operating remotely from Ahmedabad, India. This senior position oversees financial management, reporting, and control for a multi‑country healthcare group covering the UK, Ireland, USA, India and South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements for all group entities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP as applicable.
• Maintain strong financial controls, governance frameworks and reporting discipline across regions.
• Oversee inter‑company reconciliations, eliminations and consolidation processes.
• Manage financial operations, statutory, tax and regulatory compliance in each jurisdiction.
• Coordinate with local finance teams, auditors and external advisors.
• Lead and develop a remote/offshore finance team, driving standardisation and automation.
• Establish KPIs, service levels and performance management for the finance function.
• Lead group‑wide budgeting, forecasting and annual planning cycles, providing variance analysis and strategic insights.
• Manage group audit processes and ensure timely statutory accounts.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, reporting tools and ERP optimisation.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Significant experience as a Group Financial Controller or senior international finance leader.
• Proven track record managing multi‑entity, multi‑country financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and cross‑border finance.
• Experience leading offshore or remote finance teams.
• Background in the healthcare sector is preferred.
