About the role

FORVIA HELLA is seeking a dedicated Goniometer Operator to join its laboratory team in Derabassi, Punjab. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining goniometer equipment, ensuring precise measurements that support the company’s automotive lighting and electronics projects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate goniometer equipment according to standard procedures, maintaining safety and measurement accuracy.
• Interpret and report measurement results, providing detailed documentation.
• Perform regular maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of the goniometer.
• Conduct quality‑control checks to verify equipment performance.
• Collaborate with laboratory personnel on experiments and data collection.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, results, and maintenance activities.
• Assist in the installation and calibration of new goniometer units.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of operating procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; a degree in physical science or a related field is advantageous.
• 4–5 years of experience operating a goniometer or similar scientific equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to record and interpret data accurately.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting results.
• Physical stamina to work safely in a laboratory environment.
