Global Supply Chain Planner (SAP/OMP)

About the role

We are looking for a Global Supply Chain Planner to join our chemical manufacturing team. The role will translate demand forecasts into executable supply and procurement plans using SAP and OMP, ensuring material availability and optimal inventory across a global network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage supply plans, schedules and purchase orders in SAP based on demand and inventory data.
• Convert planned requisitions into purchase orders, track confirmations and monitor execution progress.
• Maintain material availability, optimise inventory levels and manage obsolete stock according to business guidelines.
• Maintain and update SAP master data and planning parameters to ensure data accuracy.
• Process goods receipts and ensure accurate inventory postings in SAP.
• Coordinate value‑chain workflows, support decision‑making and transfer workflow outputs to relevant systems.
• Collaborate with global planners, procurement, logistics and external partners to resolve supply disruptions.
• Monitor logistics costs, provide backup support for the SCM team and contribute to continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement or a relevant internship/academic exposure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
