About the role
We are seeking a skilled Purchase Manager to join our team in the Mumbai Region, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process and ensuring that purchasing activities align with the company’s strategic goals.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative, cost‑effective procurement strategies.
- Manage the end‑to‑end procurement process, including purchase orders and requisitions.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Work closely with the finance department to manage budgets and forecasts related to procurement.
