German-speaking Customer Service Specialist

About the role

Group Bayport is seeking a motivated Customer Service Specialist who can communicate fluently in German and English. The role involves delivering high‑quality support to German‑speaking customers across phone, email and chat in a fast‑paced global e‑commerce environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional assistance to German‑speaking customers via phone, email and live chat.
• Resolve inquiries related to orders, products, deliveries, payments, returns and account issues.
• Document all interactions and keep the CRM/ticketing system up‑to‑date.
• Escalate complex cases to internal teams and follow up until resolution.
• Translate or review customer communications when required.
• Follow established SOPs, SLAs and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, Production and Quality teams to improve the customer experience.
• Maintain performance metrics such as CSAT, AHT, FCR and response times.
• Stay informed about company products, policies and best practices.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• C1/C2 level proficiency in German (written and spoken) – mandatory.
• Good command of English.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer support, international BPO or related field; fresh graduates with strong German skills are welcome.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.

Required skills
