German Language Trainer for Nursing Professionals

About the role

Care Gates GmbH is seeking a full‑time German Language Trainer to join its team in Kochi. You will teach German to nursing professionals preparing for work in Germany, helping them reach the language proficiency required for professional communication and certification.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured German language lessons for groups and individual learners.
• Create detailed lesson plans aligned with B1/B2 exam requirements and professional communication needs.
• Monitor learner progress, provide regular feedback, and adjust teaching methods as needed.
• Prepare learners for language examinations and support cultural orientation for living and working in Germany.
• Collaborate with training, integration, and recruitment teams to ensure curriculum relevance.
• Update teaching materials to reflect current standards and maintain accurate attendance and performance records.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching German to adult learners, preferably in vocational or professional contexts.
• Strong background in lesson planning, classroom management, and exam preparation (B1/B2 level or equivalent).
• Native or near‑native proficiency in German and good command of English.
• Relevant degree or certification in German language, education, linguistics, or a related field.
• Ability to work with international partners and support learners from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Organized, reliable, and committed to a learner‑centered, inclusive teaching approach.
