General Manager – Head of India Operations

About the role

Health Catalyst is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead and scale its India operations across Hyderabad and Mohali. Reporting to the CTO, you will be the in‑country operational leader, ensuring alignment with U.S. teams and delivering high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations across Hyderabad and Mohali, driving consistency, efficiency, and alignment with global delivery expectations.
• Manage the India operational budget, overseeing resource planning, cost efficiency, and scaling support.
• Partner with R&D, HR, Recruiting, and Training leaders to support hiring, onboarding, and team development as the footprint grows.
• Drive operational improvements in workforce planning, team structure, and delivery execution.
• Foster strong engagement, culture alignment, and team cohesion across locations.
• Translate and reinforce company culture, values, and operating norms within India teams.
• Oversee site‑level operations, including facilities, space planning, and vendor coordination.
• Represent the company externally in community engagement, employer branding, and industry events.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience with a strong track record in India operations and delivery leadership.
• Proven ability to scale multi‑location teams and manage complex, matrixed environments.
• Excellent influence and coordination skills across functional leaders.
• Experience working closely with U.S.‑based teams and aligning local operations with global models.
