Functional Analyst - SAP MM

About the role

Airbus India is seeking a SAP MM Functional Analyst to join its Manufacturing Engineering team in Bangalore. The role focuses on the Materials Management module, its integration with SAP PP, and the maintenance of critical master data. You will work in an international, multi‑functional team using Agile methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and optimise SAP MM processes and related data (Material Master, BOM, Routings, Work Centers).
• Monitor and troubleshoot interface flows, IDocs and integration points with SAP PP and other modules.
• Perform incident, problem and change management activities, ensuring business priorities are respected.
• Provide support to internal Airbus customers, conduct root‑cause analysis and propose continuous service improvements.
• Collaborate with European clients, deliver clear communication on critical topics, and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Graduate degree with 2‑4 years of hands‑on SAP experience, preferably in MM and related modules.
• Experience in implementation, testing, specification creation and functional design at project level.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, customer‑focused mindset, and familiarity with Agile/SAFE methodologies.
• Ability to work in a distributed, multi‑functional environment and adapt to changing priorities.
