Full-time On-site Courier in Kochi

About the role

Dietado is seeking a full-time, on-site Courier based in Kochi to pick up food and beverage orders from partner locations and deliver them to customers within the promised time windows. The role combines route planning, safe handling of items, and direct interaction with customers and dispatch teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collect orders from designated kitchens or stores and verify order accuracy.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using navigation tools.
• Deliver orders to customers, handling cash or digital payments when required.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatchers and customers regarding order status.
• Observe safety, hygiene, and vehicle maintenance standards.
• Report any delays, incidents, or issues promptly.
• Assist new couriers by sharing best practices and supporting basic training.

Required profile

• Strong customer-service attitude with professional communication skills.
• Familiarity with logistics, route planning, and safe driving practices.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage handling hygiene.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle, bike or scooter.
• Good knowledge of Kochi city routes and traffic patterns.
• Ability to lift packages and stand for extended periods.
• Previous experience in delivery, logistics, retail or hospitality is a plus.
