Full Stack Software Engineer (SDE‑2) – Node.js & React

About the role

WeWork India is seeking a Full Stack Software Development Engineer 2 to lead the design, development, and launch of its first mobile application. You will work across the stack, building robust backend services and responsive web interfaces while collaborating with product, design, and AI/ML teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs and micro‑services using Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.
• Build AI‑driven chatbots and NLP solutions for customer support and workspace management.
• Implement data‑analytics pipelines for user behavior tracking and operational insights.
• Architect and develop responsive web applications and admin dashboards with React.js and Next.js.
• Translate design mocks (Figma/Sketch) into pixel‑perfect, accessible UIs following WCAG standards.
• Optimize performance through SSR/SSG, code‑splitting, lazy loading, and Core Web Vitals monitoring.
• Manage state using Redux, Context API or MobX.
• Handle cloud infrastructure and DevOps workflows on AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Optimize database performance for MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis.
• Set up logging, monitoring, alerting and ensure code quality via testing, CI/CD and peer reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) or equivalent experience.
• 3‑4 years of full‑stack development experience with a strong backend focus.
