Full Stack Mobile Engineer

About the role

CuraCura is a travel‑concierge startup building a unified iOS, Android and WhatsApp experience that plans, books and manages trips for users. As a Full Stack Mobile Engineer you will own both the mobile applications and the backend services that power them, delivering production‑ready features to paying customers on a weekly cadence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship iOS and Android apps simultaneously using React Native and Expo.
• Own the backend stack: define schemas, build APIs, run background jobs and integrate third‑party supplier services.
• Manage mobile‑specific concerns such as push notifications, deep links, offline state, release pipelines and App Store/Play Store reviews.
• Create internal tooling to monitor and improve unit economics.
• Optimize performance to keep response times under a few seconds.
• Write clean, maintainable code that remains understandable months after release.

Required profile

• At least one live app shipped to the App Store or Play Store (provide the link).
• Experience building and operating the backend for a shipped product.
• 2‑5 years of experience creating consumer‑facing products.
• Comfortable working across the full stack—from PostgreSQL query plans to React Native UI.
• Hands‑on experience handling post‑launch issues such as store reviews, crash reports, migrations and bad releases.
• Ability to own a product end‑to‑end without a detailed spec.
• Travel‑industry experience is a strong plus.
