Full-Stack Engineer – Remote (Full-Time)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Full-Stack Engineer to create a new data-intensive, map-based product. The role is fully remote and focuses on delivering a rich front-end experience while also contributing to backend services and an AI-powered chat interface.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the core UI, including interactive maps, chat windows, data tables and file-upload flows.
• Build map-centric interfaces that can render large feature sets using vector-tile libraries.
• Display tabular results from spatial queries and handle large dataset visualisation.
• Support backend development: API design, server-side persistence and integration with the AI engineer.
• Contribute to the AI-driven chat component, addressing latency and streaming partial results.
• Deliver measurable outcomes from onboarding through production.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional TypeScript full-stack experience (React front-end, Node.js back-end).
• 2+ years building map-centric front-ends with Mapbox GL or equivalent (MapLibre, Leaflet, deck.gl).
• 3+ years creating data-heavy UI components such as tables, editors and upload flows.
• 4+ years designing backend services on PostgreSQL, including API design and type-safe query layers (Kysely, Prisma).
• Senior-level experience with a strong product mindset.
