Full Stack Developer - React / Java

About the role

We are seeking a senior Full Stack Developer to maintain, optimise, and evolve our enterprise application. You will work on a legacy React 15.4 front‑end and a high‑performance Java 11 Dropwizard/Jetty back‑end, ensuring stability, security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain UI components using React v15.4, ensuring cross‑browser compatibility.
• Build and support high‑availability RESTful services with Java 11 and Dropwizard.
• Manage and tune Jetty v11 server environment for low‑latency communication.
• Bridge legacy React patterns with modern best practices and prepare for migration.
• Design and implement robust APIs for complex data transactions.
• Write unit and integration tests (JUnit, Jest/Enzyme) to guarantee stability.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep expertise in Java 11, including GC, Streams and Concurrency.
• Strong knowledge of Dropwizard 1.3.x, Jetty 11 and RESTful architecture.
• Extensive experience with React 15.4 class components, lifecycle methods and Flux/Redux.
• Ability to debug complex issues in legacy frameworks.
