Full Stack Developer - Product Engineering

About the role

Avathon is building a cutting‑edge AI platform for asset‑intensive industries. As a Full Stack Engineer on the Platform team you will design, develop, and scale core infrastructure and domain applications, leveraging modern AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and scale decoupled applications using Micro Front‑End (Webpack 5 Module Federation) and Django/PostgreSQL microservices.
• Lead high‑impact integrations such as the DMA Government application, standardising the tech stack and accelerating go‑to‑market.
• Develop AI‑grounded features that interact with the AI Model Garden APIs and Central Knowledge Graph.
• Boost developer velocity by reusing platform patterns and AI coding assistants (Copilot, Claude).
• Collaborate globally to extend backend data tier, identity/access control and event‑driven webhooks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience building and deploying scalable full‑stack applications (startup experience a plus).
• Deep frontend expertise with React 18, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, React Router v7, React Hook Form and Zod.
• Strong backend skills in Python, Django 5.x, PostgreSQL, and design of REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Proven use of AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate coding and testing.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and agile development practices.
