Full Stack Developer II

About the role

FedEx is seeking a Full Stack Developer II to join its software delivery team. The role involves collaborating with solution architects and business advisors to design, build, and maintain high‑performance web applications and micro‑services that support global logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Full Stack Developer Advisors to break down epics into capabilities and define solution designs.
• Write scalable, resilient, and secure code for both front‑end and back‑end components, including micro‑services.
• Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure code quality, performance, and security.
• Manage competing priorities, provide status updates and issue escalations to executive leadership.
• Own demo content and acceptance criteria for software releases.
• Facilitate communication across multiple development teams, on‑site and offshore vendors.
• Serve as backup for the development lead and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2‑5 years of professional experience in full‑stack application design and development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Fluent English communication skills.

• Front‑end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks).
• Back‑end development (REST APIs, server‑side languages).
