Front Office Receptionist – Pet Clinic

About the role

The Front Office Receptionist will be the first point of contact for pet parents visiting our clinic in Chennai. You will manage appointments, handle enquiries, and ensure a welcoming environment for clients and their animals.

Key responsibilities

• Greet pet parents warmly and assist with appointments and inquiries.
• Handle incoming calls, WhatsApp messages, and walk‑in clients.
• Coordinate appointments, follow‑ups, and doctor schedules.
• Address client concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Generate bills for consultation, treatment, pharmacy, and diagnostics; process cash, UPI and card payments accurately.
• Maintain daily revenue and patient‑visit reports.
• Enter and manage patient records in the hospital software.
• Liaise between doctors, pharmacy, lab and grooming/boarding services as needed.
• Schedule surgeries, vaccinations and follow‑up reminders.
• Maintain stock of front‑office stationery and receipts.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized and welcoming.
• Support marketing activities such as social media posts and feedback collection.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to handle client queries and concerns with empathy.
• Attention to detail for accurate billing and record‑keeping.
• Organised and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Data entry in hospital management software.
• Cash handling and processing of UPI and card payments.
