Front Office Guest Service Agent

About the role

As the first point of contact for guests, the Front Office Guest Service Agent ensures a warm welcome and smooth stay experience. You will manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, respond to guest inquiries, and support the overall service standards of the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and create a positive first impression.
• Handle check‑in, check‑out, reservations, modifications and cancellations using the hotel management system.
• Address guest requests, questions and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and financial records.
• Keep the front‑desk area organized, clean and presentable.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Stay informed about hotel services, local attractions and events to assist guests effectively.

Required profile

• Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality Management.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar front‑office role.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Service‑oriented attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Well‑presented and professionally groomed at all times.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
