Front Office Executive – OPD/IPD

About the role

The Front Office Executive for OPD/IPD will be the first point of contact for patients visiting the hospital. This role ensures smooth registration, accurate documentation, and effective coordination with medical staff, contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate registration of new patients and capture all necessary demographic details.
• Prepare patient files, OPD cards, and assign UHID numbers.
• Guide patients through subsequent processes and direct them to appropriate departments.
• Assist doctors and consultants with patient flow and queries.
• Handle admission, billing, and reception duties in the absence of other staff.
• Prioritize emergency cases and coordinate with relevant consultants.
• Maintain departmental documentation and ensure confidentiality of all communications.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Graduation in any stream.
• 1‑3 years of experience in a front office, reception, or similar patient‑facing role.
• Professional dress code with an ID card.
• Willingness to work as per scheduled duty hours.
