About the role
The Front Office Executive is the first point of contact for guests at JW Marriott Hotel Kolkata. You will ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, manage guest accounts, and provide accurate information and assistance throughout their stay.
Key responsibilities
- Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
- Enter Marriott Rewards information and ensure rates match market codes.
- Secure payment, adjust billing, and handle all payment types, vouchers and paid‑outs.
- Compile and review daily reports, cashier and closing reports, and manage bank drops.
- Respond to guest requests, coordinate with appropriate departments, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate guest accounts, document exceptions, and notify loss prevention of any theft reports.
- Assist management with training, evaluating, counseling and coaching staff, and uphold company policies.
- Perform cash handling duties, balance receipts and ensure compliance with accounting procedures.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of related hospitality experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with computers and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems for reservations, billing and reporting.
