Front Office Associate

About the role

The Front Office Associate will be the first point of contact for guests at Tiara by MPS, a luxury hotel in Kanayannur. Working full‑time on‑site, you will manage check‑in and check‑out processes, answer phone calls, and support guests throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and handle arrivals and departures.
• Process reservations, check‑ins, check‑outs, and payments.
• Answer telephone inquiries and provide accurate information.
• Maintain accurate guest records and update the reservation system.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure the front‑desk area is tidy and reflects hotel standards.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation with a hospitality mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and phone etiquette.
• Experience with front‑desk or reception duties in a hotel environment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification or hotel experience is a plus.
• Professional appearance, reliability and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel management or reservation software.
• Basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
