Front Desk Receptionist

About the role

Jhankar Haveli, a heritage retreat in Jodhpur, is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests. This full‑time, on‑site position involves welcoming visitors, handling reservations, and ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage the front‑desk operations.
• Answer telephone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information.
• Handle reservations, check‑ins, and check‑outs efficiently.
• Maintain guest records and update internal systems.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, food‑and‑beverage, and other internal teams to fulfill guest requests.
• Address guest concerns promptly to enhance overall satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Previous experience in hospitality or front‑desk roles is beneficial.

Required skills

• Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling guest inquiries.
• Basic clerical abilities such as record‑keeping and organization.
