Fresher Ophthalmology Consultant (OPD)

About the role

We are seeking a freshly qualified Ophthalmology Consultant to join our OPD team in Hassan, Karnataka. This full‑time position offers a supportive environment where new graduates can develop clinical expertise under senior mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct OPD consultations for eye patients.
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions such as refractive errors, cataract and infections.
• Assist in ophthalmic surgeries and progressively perform procedures under supervision.
• Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative patient care.
• Perform vision testing and prescribe corrective lenses.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Coordinate with operating‑theatre staff and optometrists.

Required profile

• MBBS/MS or DNB in Ophthalmology.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience; fresh candidates encouraged.
• Willingness to learn and work in a clinical setting.
• Good communication skills and patient‑centred attitude.
• Immediate or near‑immediate availability.
