French Tutor

About the role

Chetanya Career Consultants is seeking a full‑time French Tutor to join its Karnal centre. The tutor will deliver engaging French language lessons that support learners preparing for study abroad or career pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver interactive lessons that develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in French.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and assessments tailored to different proficiency levels.
• Conduct individual and group tutoring sessions, monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with counselling and training teams to align language instruction with learners’ study‑abroad or career goals.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance and learner outcomes.
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Strong French teaching and tutoring abilities with clear explanatory skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage learners.
• Comfort with online tutoring tools and digital platforms for blended instruction.
• Relevant qualification such as a degree in French, Languages, Education or recognized French teaching certifications (e.g., DELF/DALF).
• Prior experience teaching or tutoring French, preferably in an academic or test‑preparation setting.
• Fluent in both French and English.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics and design structured lesson plans.
