French Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate, qualified, and engaging French Teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will create a supportive learning environment that promotes language acquisition, cultural appreciation, and confident communication in French.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver interactive French lessons for various age groups and proficiency levels.
• Develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through structured activities.
• Integrate Francophone culture, traditions, and history to enrich lessons.
• Design, administer, and grade assessments, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, organized, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Communicate regularly with parents or academic management about student progress and behavior.

Required profile

• Near‑native or native‑level fluency in French (written and spoken).
• DELF/DALF certification (B2, C1, or C2) or a degree in French Literature/Language is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in French, Education, or a related field.
• Proven ability to explain complex grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation in an accessible manner.
• Prior teaching experience in a school, college, or language institute is a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with digital teaching tools.
• Experience using interactive whiteboards.
• Knowledge of language learning software.
