French Procurement Buyer (French Speaker)

About the role

Vestas is looking for a French‑speaking Procurement Buyer to join its Procurement Operations Management Office. You will support the global business by executing operational buying activities, ensuring compliance with Vestas' procurement policies, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Create non‑catalogue purchase orders using SAP and other Vestas systems.
• Issue POs in line with Vestas' Procurement Policy and meet agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Engage promptly with business stakeholders to resolve PO‑related issues.
• Modify, cancel, or close purchase orders as needed.
• Support the Accounts Payable team with invoice handling and resolve escalated exceptions.
• Provide high‑quality customer service to vendors, facilities, headquarters, and SSC teammates.
• Reject transactions that do not meet policy or documentation requirements.
• Test system enhancements to ensure they do not disrupt production.
• Generate reports on open orders, supplier confirmations, and delivery dates.
• Cover for team members and assist with additional tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3‑5 years of experience in buying, procurement, or supply‑chain functions.
• Working knowledge of SAP production and procurement modules (SAP PE1 preferred).
• Good understanding of SAP procurement master data (PIR, vendor master, quota arrangements, source lists).
• Strong written and verbal English skills and fluency in French.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Flexibility to work shifts and occasional overtime.
