Freelance Litigation Lawyer – US & India Legal Research

About the role

Deccan AI Experts is looking for a freelance litigation lawyer with expertise in both U.S. and Indian law. You will work on AI‑generated legal content, helping the system produce accurate contracts, research, compliance documents, and case analyses across the two jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑quality legal deliverables for common scenarios and professional use cases.
• Review, annotate, and evaluate AI‑generated legal outputs for accuracy, completeness, clarity, and sound legal reasoning.
• Identify jurisdiction‑specific inconsistencies, compliance risks, and unsupported conclusions in U.S. and Indian law contexts.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI‑driven legal analysis and documentation.
• Review peer‑generated deliverables to ensure consistency and research quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB, JD, LLM) or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience working with both U.S. and Indian legal systems.
• Strong understanding of legal research, drafting, contracts, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to critically evaluate legal content and spot factual, logical, or compliance issues.

Required skills

• Familiarity with U.S. federal and state laws and Indian legal frameworks.
• Experience with legal research tools and document review processes.
