Freelance Faculty for Gujarat PCS Exam Preparation

About the role

We are seeking experienced freelance faculty members to deliver high‑quality instruction to aspirants of the Gujarat PCS (State Civil Services) examination. The role involves planning and conducting both offline and online classes across subjects such as Polity, Geography, History, Science, and Economy, with a strong focus on conceptual clarity and exam orientation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured lectures, doubt‑clearing sessions, and revision classes aligned with the Gujarat PCS syllabus.
• Design and distribute comprehensive classroom notes, handouts, and reference material for assigned subjects.
• Create, administer, and evaluate tests, practice questions, and mock exams to monitor student progress.
• Integrate previous‑year question trends and current exam patterns into teaching.
• Use Gujarat‑specific and Indian examples to make sessions engaging and relevant.
• Provide individualized academic guidance and feedback.
• Coordinate with academic and content teams for scheduling and material development.
• Participate in orientation sessions, workshops, seminars, and promotional events.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a motivating learning environment.
• Stay updated on syllabus changes, exam patterns, and current affairs.

Required profile

• Strong command of the subject(s) and thorough understanding of State PCS and UPSC patterns.
• Graduation or post‑graduation in a relevant discipline; PCS/UPSC mains or interview experience preferred.
• Prior experience teaching competitive‑exam candidates (online or offline) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Gujarati.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and relate them to practical, exam‑oriented examples.
• Comfortable using digital tools for teaching, test creation, and student engagement.
• Positive, student‑centric attitude with a strong sense of responsibility for academic outcomes.
