Foreign Trade Professional – Bangalore/Chennai (Immediate Joiner)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Foreign Trade Professional to lead our international trade operations in Bangalore or Chennai. The role involves developing trade strategies, ensuring compliance, and managing end‑to‑end logistics for imports and exports.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s foreign trade strategy in line with legal and policy requirements.
• Oversee international logistics, including transportation, customs clearance, and distribution.
• Prepare and verify all import/export documentation such as invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
• Build and maintain relationships with overseas customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities and risks in foreign markets.
• Lead a team of trade professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth supply‑chain flow.
• Monitor trade data and trends to drive cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with export controls, sanctions, and anti‑corruption regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration or a related field.
• 7‑8 years of proven experience in foreign trade management.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs, export controls and anti‑corruption laws.
• Demonstrated ability to manage international logistics operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with trade management software.
