Food & Beverage Server

About the role

Join Marriott International as a Food & Beverage Server, delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests at our Mumbai location. You will be responsible for serving food courses and alcoholic beverages, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and satisfied throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and alcoholic drinks according to menu selections and service standards.
• Set tables for various events, maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, and glassware.
• Answer guest questions about the menu, communicate special dietary needs to the kitchen, and handle re‑cook orders.
• Record orders in the MICROS POS system and present accurate checks for payment.
• Check in with guests to confirm satisfaction after each course.
• Complete closing duties such as restocking, turning off lights, and ensuring the dining area is ready for the next service.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies while maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lb unaided.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS POS system for order entry and payment processing.
