About the role

The Food & Beverage Host will be the first point of contact for guests in the restaurant, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless service throughout their dining experience. This role supports the overall success of the hotel by delivering brand‑standard hospitality and maintaining operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, seat, and manage reservations for guests according to outlet standards.
• Present menus, take orders, serve food and beverages, and clear tables in a timely manner.
• Maintain par stocks of equipment and guest supplies.
• Operate the Micros POS system, compute bills, and handle cash and credit‑card transactions following finance policies.
• Respond to guest inquiries, handle complaints, and ensure satisfactory resolution.
• Collaborate with other outlet staff and hotel departments, supporting a team‑oriented environment.
• Uphold brand standards, respond to consumer audit results, and implement required changes.
• Participate in training sessions, adhere to the employee handbook, and represent Hyatt values.
