About the role
The Food & Beverage Associate at Marriott International creates memorable guest experiences by delivering high‑quality food and beverage service during events and daily operations. You will work closely with the kitchen and event teams to ensure seamless service from start to finish.
Key responsibilities
- Set up tables, event materials and service stations according to event specifications.
- Communicate orders and special requests with the kitchen staff.
- Serve guests courteously, respond to their needs, and maintain a clean service area.
- Follow all company, safety and security policies; report maintenance issues, accidents or unsafe conditions.
- Maintain a professional uniform and personal appearance.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests in line with Marriott standards.
- Stand, walk, bend, lift and carry objects up to 25 lb throughout the shift.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of food‑and‑beverage or event service experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
