Food & Beverage Associate – Guest Service Role

About the role

The Food & Beverage Associate delivers exceptional guest service in a hotel restaurant setting. You will take orders, serve meals and drinks, and ensure a clean, welcoming dining environment while adhering to hotel standards and hygiene protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests courteously.
• Present menus, answer questions, and take accurate orders.
• Communicate orders to the kitchen and serve food and beverages promptly.
• Set up, clean, and maintain dining tables before and after service.
• Respond quickly to guest requests and resolve any concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant, service stations, and equipment.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments for smooth operations.
• Process guest bills and handle cash/POS transactions when required.
• Assist with buffet setups, banquets, and special events as assigned.

Required profile

• Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management/Hospitality (preferred).
• Previous experience in food & beverage service is an advantage; freshers may also apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a positive personality.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic knowledge of restaurant etiquette and hygiene standards.
