Food & Beverage Ambassador

About the role

Join the pre‑opening team of Fairmont Udaipur Palace as a Food & Beverage Ambassador. You will be the first point of contact for guests in restaurants, lounges and banquet areas, delivering the luxury hospitality experience the brand is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests warmly, creating a positive first impression.
• Present menus, explain items and specials, and make tailored recommendations.
• Take accurate orders and ensure timely service in coordination with kitchen and bar staff.
• Maintain clean, organized dining areas and service stations.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, respond promptly to requests, and handle billing using POS systems.
• Promote hotel restaurants, special promotions and upsell food and beverage items.
• Support the team during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management or Food & Beverage Service (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in restaurant, hotel or resort service; fresh graduates from recognized institutes are also considered.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Well‑groomed appearance and professional etiquette.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of POS systems and billing procedures.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and hygiene standards.
