Fire Protection Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to lead the design and engineering of fire protection and detection systems for large‑scale power plant, industrial and hydrocarbon projects. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring that fire safety designs are integrated seamlessly with overall project requirements and that all deliverables meet client and regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review proposals for fire protection and detection systems.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations and design documentation.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and PIPE NET specifications.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses related to fire safety.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines on large projects.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for client review.
• Support project execution from concept through commissioning.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and PIPE NET.
• Experience in proposal preparation and detailed fire protection engineering for power plant, industrial or hydrocarbon facilities.
• Demonstrated experience with fire detection system design.
• Proven ability to work on large, multidisciplinary projects.
• Effective communication skills.
