Fire Executive

About the role

The Fire Executive is responsible for overseeing fire station operations and ensuring the readiness of emergency vehicles and firefighting equipment. The role supports incident control, fire mitigation, and compliance with fire safety policies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute incident command and control techniques during emergencies and actively participate in firefighting and rescue operations.
• Conduct investigations of fire incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective action plans.
• Perform regular inspection, testing and maintenance of all firefighting equipment, systems and vehicles to guarantee operational readiness.
• Track and manage the availability and reliability of firefighting assets across all stations.
• Lead daily fire drills and emergency response activities to ensure effective response.
• Maintain log books, occurrence records and shift documentation to ensure compliance with fire safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement by staying current with best practices and updating procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferably in the science stream.
• Fireman certification.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in fire safety or emergency services.

Required skills

• Fire safety management and incident command techniques.
• Operation of fire vehicles, pumps and heavy‑vehicle driving.
• Inspection, testing and maintenance of firefighting equipment and systems.
• Root‑cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Execution of fire drills and emergency response coordination.
