Financial Planning & Analysis Lead / Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance professional to lead the Financial Planning & Analysis function for a district of our Environmental Sales & Service business. The role blends traditional finance controllership with hands‑on problem solving, supporting key business decisions across multiple product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly close processes in partnership with branch and district leaders, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Post journal entries, accruals and adjustments while maintaining compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Prepare, review and validate financial statements for product lines such as Safety Kleen, Technical Services and Field Services.
• Conduct detailed P&L and balance‑sheet analyses and provide insightful information for leadership decision‑making.
• Develop comprehensive financial summaries and reports that highlight performance drivers and identify cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Lead the preparation of monthly rolling forecasts and the annual budgeting process for the district.
• Support strategic initiatives and ad‑hoc financial analyses as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Regional Finance Manager or similar senior finance role.
• Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and influence business decisions.
• Hands‑on attitude to resolve accounting and financial issues.
