Business Trainee – Global Ethics Office Support

About the role

The Business Trainee will primarily support the Global Ethics Office (GEO) teams across the North America region, with the flexibility to extend support to APAC and EMEA as business needs evolve. This role offers exposure to compliance processes, employee trading policies, and cross‑regional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for GEO activities across North America and scale to other regions as needed.
• Address employee queries on personal trading policies and assist with internal compliance systems.
• Review transaction confirmations, process trade‑related activities, and analyze statements for potential conflicts.
• Perform transaction monitoring and validate trading activity against documentation.
• Assess personal trading pre‑clearance requests and determine approvals or rejections.
• Support broker governance, including account mappings, closures, and data discrepancy resolution.
• Monitor employee compliance requirements such as disclosures, reporting, and certifications.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests by compiling and validating compliance data.

Required profile

• Understanding of financial markets, financial products, and the mutual fund industry.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work across time zones.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and high ethical standards.
• Academic requirement: MBA/PGDM in Finance with no current backlogs.
