Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst – Consumer Banking

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst will join the Consumer Banking Finance team in Bangalore, supporting the firm’s budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes. You will partner across the organization to provide insightful analysis and help drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and consolidate month‑end results, forecasts for the remainder of the year, and budgets for future years.
• Perform variance analysis to identify key drivers and prepare commentary on changes versus prior forecasts and budgets.
• Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc reports on results and drivers for senior management.
• Enhance controls, streamline processes and introduce automation where possible.
• Work on projects that promote global consistency and create synergies across the finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a technical discipline.
• At least two years of experience in the finance domain, preferably in FP&A.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
• High motivation, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information.
• Team player respected as a trusted partner for Business, Finance, and FP&A teams.
